The Major Scale: Pattern Two - Combining Patterns

Taught by: Corey Christiansen

Beginner, Intermediate

Part II of Corey's simple one octave approach to mastering the major scale. Combining these two shapes will open up the fretboard and get you improvising all over the neck.

Introduction

In this lesson Corey teaches the second one-octave pattern. He shows how you can combine these two patterns in a variety of ways to create two and even three octave major scale patterns.  This is a great approach to help you move more musically and freely across the fretboard.
