That’s a question I’ve heard several times lately, voiced in a variety of ways, such as: I’d like to learn to play guitar, what’s a good guitar to begin playing on? What’s a good guitar for leading campfire songs? Here's my take on it. For a beginner, I recommend an instrument with low enough action and sufficient tone quality that the student's technique and listening ability develop properly.
