Taught by: Teague Bechtel

Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced

This lesson takes us a little deeper in the development of the bebop line by adding beginnings and endings to your ideas.

Introduction

Starting and ending your bebop lines with intention is an extremely important part of the jazz language. In this lesson we are discussing the basics of ending lines, working through several classic bebop endings, and looking at ways you can start your lines with clearly phrased ideas.
