Joshua was blessed to grow up in a family that loved music; as a child he performed piano, cello and vocal music.  During High School he studied at Palomar Community College and was the youngest member of the Palomar Chamber Singers.  He graduated from The Master's College in Santa Clarita with his B.M in Vocal Performance.

Josh has performed in locations from the Oakland Temple in the Bay Area to Carnegie Hall in New York City. He currently music directs at the State Historic Woodland Opera House. Some of his favorite performance roles include Tony in West Side Story, Rodolfo in La Bohème, and Obadiah in Elijah.

Josh's vocal and piano students include performers in local theatre, a young composer featured on KFI 640AM, a Miss California's Outstanding Teen finalist, a semi-finalist for the voice, and film and TV actors.  He reminds his students that every role from lead to ensemble is integral to the show.
