Carlos Costa is the owner of White Oak Music & Arts and has been a musician since the age of 7, when he first discovered his love of music through the accordion. Carlos has extensive teaching experience, and now teaches guitar, bass, drums, and piano to students at WOMA. He has been playing in bands for over 30 years and has performed in hundreds of venues all over the Western United States and Canada, and was even onstage at Carnegie Hall while part of the California Youth Symphony. Carlos is an alumnus of the world-renowned California Institute of the Arts where he earned a B.F.A. in Music Composition and Theory. He also has experience teaching music to special-needs children, and is fluent in Spanish, as well as English.
