Tritone Music school is family owned and operated by professional musicians who live in Arlington Heights. For many years, we have been performing, recording and teaching all over the Chicago area and the world at venues from music clubs, to schools, to large concert halls. Through our experiences, we feel that we have developed a unique approach and philosophy to teaching music. We enjoy sharing that approach with people in the surrounding area.

Our motto is this: provide quality music education at an affordable price. But we also understand the value that music plays in people’s lives. We like to show how learning music develops many important human traits essential to success in life. Building relationships, memory, joy of achievement, working and playing together, getting along, perseverance, sharing, confidence, and generosity are just a few of the traits that music helps to cultivate. 

We have found that listening is the most important thing, and that reading music-even though important-can take a back seat to learning by ear, and a little study of the “math” of music. Once the connection between these two ideas is made, the possibilities become endless.
