Welcome to The Successful Voice!  Get the answers and solutions you are looking for so that you can sing with your real voice, with vocal freedom, expression, power and tonal colors!  The Successful Voice is a reliable step by step system that focuses on vocal technique for all styles of singing so that you can sing with a free natural voice easily, gain power and agility, increase your range and gain a deep understanding of how the voice works, and specifically how your own voice works.  The terminology used is simple and straight forward, easy to understand and easy to follow.  

Students can take lessons at the studio in Gaylordsville, at the Main Street location in downtown New Britain, in Chappaqua at St. Mary the Virgin, and in New York City at Shetler Studios in midtown.

Voice lessons is the primary focus at The Successful Voice, but training is also provided in piano, songwriting, music theory, celtic harp, voice for speakers, voice for actors, voice for tv anchors, voice for voiceover artists, and vocal rehabilitation.

Producing and recording is also available for special projects.

Zoe Vandermeer has been teaching for 20 years and is a professional performing artist and composer, a prize-winning graduate of the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, and is on the performing artist roster of the Connecticut Commission on Culture and Tourism.  She is a member of the Music Teachers National Association, Early Music America and the American Harp Society.  As a producer and recording engineer, her audio/video clients include Classical Singer Convention, Chelsea Opera, State Farm Insurance, Imajica Opera Project, Bedford Chamber Concerts, and many others.  Ms. Vandermeer has been the music director at TheatreWorks New Milford, Dublin Children's Theatre, Alameda Musical Children's Theatre, and elsewhere.
