About Sue Marsico
Sue teaches guitar, piano, and voice lessons at North Fulton School of Music in Alpharetta.
Sue graduated from Depauw University with a Bachelor Degree of Music (piano major, voice minor) and a Masters of Art in teaching. Sue was 1st runner-up in both Miss Illinois and Miss Indiana Pageants (Miss America) and was talent winner in both with her piano performances. Sue has taught elementary music and various grade levels in Cobb County Schools for over 30 years. Sue directs 2 choral groups and is responsible for all PTA performances (involving singing and dancing) at her school. She accompanies all musicals at Roswell High School and has also been the pianist for musicals at Chattahoochee High School and Johns Creek High School. Sue can also be found playing the organ and/or piano for weddings. She has also accompanied students for college jury exams (music tests). Sue was also the Minister of Childrens Music at Northbrook UMC for 3 years. She was the Assistant Director of Music at First Christian Church of Atlanta for 3 years. She received the Ann Boyd Scholarship for a perfect score in National Guild Auditions. Sue has 3 children of her own, the youngest being a junior in college where she majors in voice. Sue loves teaching motivated children who practice and want to progress. Over half of her students participate in the ABRSM exams in exam pieces and theory.
