San Diego Performance Academy located in Santee, Calif. is a premier music school.  We teach singing, guitar, bass, drums, piano, violin, acting and performance.

We offer lessons by college trained teachers and offer performance lessons and opportunities to play on stage to our students that are enrolled in our performance program.

We have been inspiring kids to express themselves musically through instrument and vocals and to rock on stage and in life.

At San Diego Performance Academy, everyone starts with basic music or vocal lessons.  We also offer a performance program where a student learns how to perform on stage as a solo act or can be joined with other students to create a band.  The Performance Program teaches students how to perform solo and with others in a live stage environment.    With this technique, we are proud to say that, “we take students from the lesson room to the stage,” developing both their confidence and performance skills with programs designed for all levels, as they are offered opportunities  to perform at different venues through the year.

We have a high retention rate as once a student starts lessons at our school they stay, because it is a perfect match for them. We have students that joined when we first opened our doors and have gone on to be part of SDPA’s staff.

All our teachers have music degrees and only teach music or teach music and continue their education.

All our teachers have experience on stage and can give students lessons that encompass all aspects of learning an instrument, from technique to performance to musical knowledge to fun.

All the teachers are located under one roof, so if your child starts in one instrument, they can also switch to another or even take lessons back to back, like piano and voice.

We can teach siblings simultaneously different instruments as we have more than one teacher, minimizing your wait time.

We are able to guide your child musically and give them the opportunity to try out many different instruments until they find the one they prefer.

We are like a family and teach your child as an individual, that is why we have students from all over San Diego county that drive to our studio in Santee for lessons.
