   Hello! My name is Jacob and I am a musician in the Boston area. I began playing guitar when I was seven and piano when I was nine. My father was a Berklee College of Music student and my mother sang in the Lexington pops, and so ever since I was young I knew that music was something I wanted to make a career out of. I would practice my instruments for hours each day, and started writing my own songs. 

   After the experience of being in multipule bands and performing, I followed in my father's footsteps and was accepted to Berklee College of Music where I decided to major in songwriting. I was trained by Joe Rodgers and Jim Kelly in guitar proficiency. Shortly after beginning my career at Berklee I started a business, Verse One Music Lessons, LLC - where I run a network of amazing music teachers. I now spend my time running my business, teaching music lessons, doing song consulting and leading youth worship at my church.

   I have been very blessed to meet and engage the great musicians I have, and I would love to help you on your journey to playing your favorite instrument!
