About Erin A. Paul, horn
Erin A. Paul is an accomplished performer and teacher. She most recently played 4th horn for the Sarajevo Philharmonic (Sarajevska Filharmonija) in Bosnia-Herzegovina. The orchestra supports all the functions at the National Theater, playing for symphonic concerts, opera, ballet and vocal soloists.
Erin was raised in Connecticut, where she attended the Hartt School of Music at the University of Hartford in West Hartford, CT to earn her bachelor’s degree in performance and music history. She moved to Las Vegas in 2010 to earn her master’s degree, studying with Bill Bernatis at UNLV.
While living in Las Vegas, Erin had the opportunity to play professionally with the Las Vegas Philharmonic for the opening of the new Smith Center for Performing Arts, with the pit orchestras for Phantom of the Opera and Disney’s The Lion King, as well as teach privately and coach the horn section of Foothill High School (Henderson, NV). She traveled to France in the summer of 2011 to play for the Franco-American Vocal Academy production of Le Grande Duchesse de Gerolstein, and attended the Sewanee Summer Festival in 2012.
