Corey teaches guitar and songwriting at North Fulton School of Music Alpharetta.
 
Corey Coleman is full time musician who has been performing, writing and teaching for over 15 years. His career has taken him all over the country, playing everywhere from local venues to the famed Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN. Currently he is one half of the award winning duo, Kate and Corey ( kateandcorey.com ). He has instructed many students ranging from absolute beginners to advanced professionals looking for new perspectives in improvisation and songwriting. With a primarily Jazz-based mentality when it comes to approaching music, his strengths are music theory, improvisation and relating that to his primary instrument, guitar.
