Taught by: Corey Christiansen
Intermediate, Advanced
Soloing with triad pairs is an intervallic approach to improvisation and a concept that will add a modern flair to your soloing. This lesson discusses this approach over functional harmonic progressions.
Introduction
Triad pairs are an intervallic approach to improvisation. When used correctly, they can add a modern flair to your lead playing as well as your comping. This is one lesson of a four lessons set on triad pairs and deals primarily with using then over functional harmony (chord progressions) as opposed to modal vamps.
