About Allison Mion
Allison teaches voice and piano at North Fulton School of Music Alpharetta.
Allison began singing at a very young age and began private study at the age of 15. Hailing from northern New Jersey (where she ran her own studio in 2012), Allison has worked with many renowned teachers in the NJ/NY greater metropolitan area, including Jane Bunnell, William Riley, Patricia Joyce and Jamie Baer-Peterson. Allison holds a Bachelor of Arts from the Sunderman Conservatory of Music at Gettysburg College (Pennsylvania), and received additional music education at the IES Institute (International Education of Students) in Vienna, Austria, the Varna Music Academy in Varna, Bulgaria, and at Songfest Summer Music Program in Los Angeles, CA. Allison is a two-time runner up at the NATS competition (National Association of Teachers of Students) in both the Pennsylvania and Georgia divisions. She is currently earning her master’s degree in vocal performance at Georgia State University, where she studies under Richard Clement.
