I am a Music industries Major at CSU Pomona. I have played drums for 15 years, piano for 8, guitar for 4 years and sang for 4 years. I learned percussion side by side with drum set. Aside from teaching these instruments, I also have knowledge in recording and production. My whole life has been devoted to music as it is my passion. Throughout middle school and high school, I instructed and led many of my peers. When instructors would step out, show up late, or drum captains weren't there, I was. I also gave lessons at a charity. Overall I have been in over 20 bands and have extensive experience, stories, lessons, and I will share. These include drumline, combos, symphonic, wind ensembles, marching band, pit orchestras, many jazz bands, and much more. I have traveled all over Southern California and even New Orleans for jazz performing.  

I have so so much instruction by so many teachers, professors, and private instructors, that it is natural to share. I am committed that my students walk away a new musician, at their best level, and responsible for their own path. This creates an environment for workability that is pleasant. Having students over at my house is an option right now. I have all the instruments, equiptment, and books I need to teach. Traveling to other homes is also available.

Depending on what instrument it is, teaching different styles of music is may or may not be available. For example, I will not teach jazz on guitar, however, I will on piano and drums. Weekly assignments will be given to the student out of the books and lesson learned. Each assignment plan is customized per student. They may consist of readings, videos, songs, music scores, music books, exercises and vocabulary. Theory, rhythm, syncopation, ear training, harmony, warm ups, sight reading, composition, and technique are available to be taught.
