Introduction
This lesson is primarily about how we keep chord tones on the beat and non-chord tones off the beat. This is the primary emphasis of the bebop scale and the real advantage of using it. This is one of the most fundamental aspects of developing bebop vocabulary. This video also briefly touches on pick-slanting and how best to use the downward pick angle to speed through your bebop scales.
