My name is Anna and I am a violin and piano teacher. Teaching is special to me because I get to share the gift of music that I have experienced with others. I also enjoy meeting people and developing relationships, and I especially enjoy working with young children. I teach from my in-home studio which is located in Harmony, North Carolina which is just north of Statesville. It is also a convenient drive from Mocksville, Winston-Salem, Taylorsville, and Mooresville.

I began playing the violin at the age of five. I received a variety of musical instruction throughout the years, but I was mainly taught using the Suzuki method. Classical music remains my favorite to play and listen to, although I also enjoy playing hymns and fiddle tunes. Besides violin, I have also had some piano instruction, during which I studied music theory and fundamentals such as scales and chords. My teaching experience began four years ago with two piano students, ages 9 and 7 followed soon after by three violin students, ages 10, 8, and 7. Since then, I have expanded my studio with some very talented and eager musicians!

Spring Recital - April 22, 2016, 7:00 pm
Come join us at the Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, 825 Wesley Drive in Statesville, NC for our spring recital! It will be a lot of fun as students have an opportunity to share the pieces they have been working so hard on. Refreshments will be served.
