Hi!  My name is Katherine and I am a professional multi-instrumentalist (flute, clarinet, and saxophone) who has played in the Detroit metro area for countless musical productions.  I have taught lessons on all three instruments for over ten years. My students are leaders in their school band programs who achieve high ratings at MSBOA festivals.  I have taught successful students from 5 to 85 who have had a wide range of backgrounds, exceptionalities, disabilities, and ability levels. I specialize in seeing that every student reaches their fullest potential.  My lessons are goal based, positive, focused, and challenging.

I am an alumnus of Oakland University where I received my Bachelor of Music degrees in Clarinet Performance and Instrumental Music Education. While at Oakland, I dedicated myself to extensive study of the clarinet, saxophone, and flute.
