Chrissy Bender has been playing the violin for 30 years, and teaching privately for 20 years. She has performed in various local and regional orchestras and ensembles, including performing in the pit orchestra for The Beechmont Players and playing fiddle in a local band, Busted Bridge. In addition to teaching private violin lessons, Chrissy performs with a local string quartet.  Her teaching approach incorporates learning to read music as well as practicing learning by ear, and she loves meeting each student where they are to foster a deep love and appreciation for music.
